Morning, you woke up, but can’t focus enough to get work done.

The same memory came back. You were scared, sad, angry, and frustrated that you cannot forget about it.

Once again, you snapped at your loved ones, because the irritation cost all of your energy and patience.

You’ve been given many diagnoses, but nothing felt right until you learned about trauma

You’ve lost track of a “normal routine”

You can take back what’s been taken from you.

You can be compassionate with yourself.

You can learn to manage flashbacks and nightmares.

You can go out without fear.

You can focus and be present.

You can be more confident.

Frequently Asked Questions

Trauma not only resides in your brain, but also in the rest of your body. It may cause pain or tightness. You may have tried stretching, heating pad, icing, etc. Your doctors could not find any physical cause to explain the pain. The good news is, those symptoms could go away once the related trauma is fully processed. One of the easy ways to potentially relate the tension is to plant your feet on the ground, feel the rest of the your body. Picture the shape, colors, and/or the sound of the pain. Picture pushing it outside of the body. Push it further and further away, until it is gone. This method itself could be enough in certain situations. Sometimes, it only reduces the pain temporarily, and you may need to work with a therapist to fully process the trauma contributed to the pain to fully recover.
